Designed for Creators. Built for experience.
Magic Box was selected to host Adobe MAX, Adobe's flagship creator conference for the global creative community.
A canvas for creativity.
The one-day activation filled 35,000 square feet of the venue for 1,000 attendees. Adobe needed a flexible Los Angeles venue that felt different from a traditional hotel or convention center, somewhere it could create a bespoke experience that reflected the creative energy of the Adobe community.
Working alongside experiential agency GPJ, Magic Box helped transform the venue into a multi-layered immersive experience, designed as a series of unexpected reveals. As guests moved through the venue, new environments gradually opened, from an '80s-inspired New York subway and teleportation tunnel to a Boiler Room-style dance activation and a modern interpretation of a Googie-era diner featuring brands including TikTok, Meta, and Coca-Cola.
From load-in through strike, Magic Box provided venue operations, technical infrastructure, production coordination, logistics, security, housekeeping, and guest flow management, working alongside GPJ to transform an ambitious creative concept into a complex, multi-space experience.
Spaces used.
Every turn revealed a new experience.
